Jesus the Revolutionary

Inspired by the bold, iconic street style of Obey Clothing, this design features a minimalist, black-and-white illustration of Black Jesus with African-inspired features. This piece celebrates both cultural heritage and spiritual strength. The bold “JESUS” lettering beneath the powerful image commands attention, creating a visual testament of The Gospel of Jesus of Nazareth, a Revolutionary Street Disciple whose ministry of healing the sick, feeding the poor, and lifting the oppressed was counted as subversion, disturbance of the peace, and unlawful assembly. His compassion drew crowds the authorities could not control, and his insistence on dignity for the forgotten placed him under the watchful eye of systems threatened by his love for the people. This design honors a life spent restoring dignity to those pushed to the margins and exposing the systems that held them there.
